UPDATE on March 26, 2026: Brent Anthony Shuff Jr. is now facing multiple other charges after being rearrested by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation.

• LA R.S. 14.89.3 Sexual abuse of an animal (2 counts)
• LA R.S. 14.81.1 Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (538 Counts)

These new charges come after a forensic examination of his cellular devices. 

He remains in custody at the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center.

Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents arrested 34-year-old Brent Anthony Shuff Jr., on Slocum Road in Calhoun, Louisiana, on March 18 for:

• LA R.S. 14.81.1 LA R.S. 14.81.1 Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (2 Counts)

This arrest was the result of a joint investigation with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, and LA Probation & Parole.

Shuff Jr. was booked into the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center.

His bond information is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
